Jinyangho Park will hold a large-scale Children’s Day celebration on May 5 featuring live performances, free activity zones, children’s workshops, and complimentary zoo admission.

The event, titled “Let’s Go Play at Jinyangho Park,” will run from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Dynamic Plaza in the park’s Dream Growth Garden area. In case of rain, programs will move indoors to Jinyangho Woodland. Popular pre-event activities will begin on a first-come, first-served basis starting at 10 a.m.

Throughout the afternoon, families can enjoy a jump rope performance, recreation games, and a combined magic, bubble, and balloon show. Children will also have access to a wide range of free hands-on activity zones including inflatable play areas, sports games, costume cosplay spaces, picture book play corners, family personality counseling booths, craft workshops, and animal-themed making programs.

One of the main attractions will be a morning mission event where children collect stamps around the park, take photos with designated park landmarks, post on social media with the official hashtag, and reserve spots for some of the most in-demand experiences.

Jinyangho Park Zoo will offer free admission for children during the event, and the city will also run free shuttle buses from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at roughly 10-minute intervals to reduce traffic congestion inside the park.

Private vehicle access into the park will be restricted for safety, with visitors directed to temporary parking lots near the front and rear entrances.
