Exploring Korea: Saryang Deokdong Village Yellow Cosmos Festival to be held Oct. 25

The 2nd Saryang Deokdong Village Yellow Cosmos Festival will take place on October 25 in Deokdong Village, Saryang-myeon, offering visitors a vibrant autumn spectacle of flowers set against the clear island skies.
The festival grounds will feature a breathtaking floral landscape, with 17,067 square meters of yellow cosmos, 6,447 square meters of pink cosmos, and 3,042 square meters of dwarf sunflowers in full bloom.
The golden and pink waves of blossoms create a perfect backdrop for visitors to capture unforgettable “life shots” from anywhere along the flower paths.
The opening ceremony will begin at 2 p.m. in front of the Deokdong Village Hall, featuring a band performance and a variety of community events to entertain residents and visitors alike.
