The city of Gimhae has reopened the popular loess walking trail at Bunsungsan Ecological Forest, welcoming visitors back as of March 23.

A well-known local wellness spot attracting around 40,000 visitors annually, the trail shifts to its wet-course operation from March through October, allowing walkers to fully experience the soft, moist texture of natural loess underfoot. During winter, the trail is maintained in a dry format.

Stretching 580 meters in length and 1.5 meters wide, the path offers a unique barefoot walking experience, encouraging visitors to connect with nature while enjoying the health benefits often associated with loess. Three foot-washing stations are also available for convenience.

Beyond the trail, the ecological forest features a pond, wildflower gardens, and scenic walking paths, along with a variety of nature-based programs for visitors.
