Hadong County is rapidly emerging as a park golf destination, expanding its facilities while leveraging the scenic beauty of the Seomjin River and Jirisan.
Following the operation of 18-hole courses in Hoengcheon and Gojeon, the county upgraded the Jingyo Park Golf Course from 18 to 36 holes on October 28, showcasing its capabilities by hosting two large-scale tournaments that boosted local awareness and the regional economy.
The Hadong Songnim Park Golf Course, currently in trial operation, will officially open in December after facility improvements and river-use approval, expected to become a new attraction linked with Songnim Park.
Construction on the Yangbo Park Golf Course begins this month, adding a 9-hole course within Yangbo Sports Park by June 2026 and creating a multigenerational leisure space.
Further developments include new courses planned in Okjong and Agyang, both undergoing design and approval procedures, with construction targeted for early 2026.
With over 1,000 active members across 30 clubs and visitors from neighboring regions, Hadong’s courses continue to thrive thanks to high-quality facilities and breathtaking surroundings.
