The Korea International Streaming Festival (KISF) will return to Busan from June 18 to 21, positioning the city once again at the center of global discussions on streaming content and media technology.
Held at the Busan Cinema Center and surrounding venues, the event is jointly hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT and Busan Metropolitan City. It has grown into Korea’s largest festival dedicated to streaming platforms, covering a wide range of content including OTT series, variety programming, short form media, music, and FAST services.
Originally launched as a side program of the Busan International Film Festival, the event has steadily expanded into an independent platform focused on the convergence of content, technology, and industry. The 2026 edition marks a formal rebranding under its current name, reflecting its broader international scope.
Key programs will include the Global OTT Awards, an international streaming summit, investment pitch sessions, and industry focused events exploring trends in digital media. Organizers say the festival aims to provide insight into the evolving global streaming ecosystem while supporting the international growth of Korean content.
Submissions for the 2026 Global OTT Awards are open through March 25, with winners to be announced during a ceremony on June 20 at the Busan Cinema Center’s outdoor theater.
