Jinju City will host a two-day Christmas and New Year winter festival called “Why Santa Came Early” on December 13 and 14 at Jinju in the Forest of Wolasan Mountain, one of the city’s most popular forest-wellness destinations.
The event is designed as a seasonal celebration inside a forest setting, inviting visitors to experience the holidays in nature.
Guests wearing hanbok will receive special experience programs, “forest currency” that can be used on-site, and welcome gifts, making it one of the more playful and interactive winter programs in the region.
The festival blends holiday themes with local cultural elements and aims to showcase Wolasan’s appeal as both a recreational space and a family-friendly destination.
Visitors can expect a mix of small activities, themed experiences, and opportunities to explore the forest environment during the winter season.
