Korea Destinations: Jinyangho Water Festival takes place July 24-25

Jinju will kick off the summer with the 2026 Jinyangho Water Festival, taking place July 24–25 at Jinyangho Park’s Dream Growth Garden.

Now in its fifth year, the free festival has become one of the city’s signature summer events, offering a variety of water attractions for all ages. Visitors can enjoy giant water slides, inflatable pools, water cannons, and interactive activities including water gun games, limbo contests, and mini Olympic-style competitions.

The evening of July 24 will feature a special entertainment program with a live EDM performance, dance shows, and a fireworks display over Jinyangho.

Safety personnel will be stationed throughout the venue, with shaded rest areas, changing rooms, and shower facilities available for visitors.

Families can also enjoy the nearby Jinyangho Children’s Water Playground, which is open free of charge throughout July and August.

The park’s lakeside cafés, scenic walking paths, and observation deck provide additional attractions for visitors looking to spend a full day at Jinyangho.
