Yangsan City will extend the 2025 Yangsan Chrysanthemum Festival by one week, moving the closing date from November 9 to November 16.
The extension aims to give citizens and tourists who were unable to visit earlier an additional opportunity to enjoy the vibrant display of chrysanthemums in full bloom.
Held at the Central Plaza of Hwangsan Park, this year’s festival showcases over 65,000 carefully cultivated chrysanthemums, including bonsai varieties and large and small blooms, creating a colorful and fragrant landscape that has been well-received by visitors.
The festival operates daily from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., with nighttime lighting from sunset to 9 p.m. to highlight the flowers’ distinctive evening beauty.
While agricultural product booths, food stalls, and live performances will not run during the extended week, visitors can still experience the tranquil charm of the floral displays in a more relaxed atmosphere.
