Busan’s only theme park castle, Lorry Castle, has transformed into a festive gift just in time for Christmas.
At Lotte World Adventure Busan in Gijang, the winter season festival “Miracle Winter Forest” is now in full swing, filling the park with holiday magic through the end of the year.
At the heart of the celebration is the newly unveiled “Christmas Castle,” where Lorry Castle turns into a snow-covered fairytale each evening.
A multimedia mapping show brings the castle walls to life with images of Christmas decorations, toys, and gift boxes, while a giant Santa completes the winter fantasy.
The show begins daily at 5:30 p.m., when artificial snow falls across the castle and tree garden, creating a classic white Christmas atmosphere.
The Royal Garden Plaza features more than 40 Christmas trees, including a 5-meter-tall main tree surrounded by pinecone- and berry-decorated displays. As night falls and the lights come on, the area becomes a popular photo spot for visitors.
This winter season also emphasizes guest participation. During the “Winter Magic Forest Parade,” visitors are invited to dance along with performers to cheerful carols. Guests who purchase parade-themed items such as cloaks can even join the parade walk themselves, which takes place twice daily on weekdays.
For families, character performances add to the fun. Shows featuring Lotte World mascots Lottie and friends, including the “Winter Friends Parade” and the stage show “Christmas Sweet Box,” run on a set schedule, followed by photo sessions that let children capture special holiday memories.
