The 4th Mijo Lighthouse Flea Market will be held on June 17 from 1 p.m. at Bukhang Lighthouse Park in Mijo-myeon, offering a day of community activities, performances, and family-friendly programs for residents and visitors.

Organized by the Mijo-myeon Administrative Welfare Center, the event is expected to serve as a gathering place where locals and tourists can connect through culture, sharing, and community participation.

A total of 12 vendors will take part in the flea market, while a variety of cultural performances and hands-on activities will be held throughout the day. Highlights include a flash mob performance by students from Mijo Elementary School, performances by the Mijo Harmony Choir and the Kim Hyo-sun Traditional Music Group, and a busking concert by acoustic guitarist Go Dong-wan.

Visitors can also participate in interactive programs such as stencil eco-bag decorating and art-stamp scarf making.

In addition, the local health center will operate wellness booths offering blood pressure and blood sugar screenings, along with dementia prevention education, providing health services for community members alongside the festival activities.
