The Yoga Culture Town at Sunshine Miryang Theme Park is gaining attention as a leading destination for group training and retreats, driven by growing demand for wellness programs focused on mental and physical recovery.

Officially launched in January 2024, the Yoga Culture Town has developed retreat programs that reflect Miryang’s local character. By the end of 2025, around 8,000 participants from more than 280 organizations nationwide had taken part in its programs, experiencing Miryang’s approach to wellness tourism.

In January alone, approximately 300 participants from five organizations, including the Gyeongnam Education Training Institute, visited the site.

Programs include yoga, foot spa sessions, meditation, tea therapy, and hands-on DIY activities designed to help participants unwind from demanding work schedules.

The retreat programs are also linked with seasonal tourist attractions in and around Miryang, offering structured opportunities for rest and reflection.

As a result, the Yoga Culture Town is increasingly being used for group training programs, particularly for public officials seeking restorative, short-term retreats.
