The city of Busan and the Busan Tourism Organization will launch a new “Sunset Tour” on the Nakdong River Eco Boat this November, offering passengers a chance to enjoy the city’s stunning evening skies reflected over the water.

The free pilot program runs for two weeks, from November 5 to 16, departing from the Hwamyeong Pier.

The new route focuses on the theme of sunsets, allowing visitors to experience the golden hues of dusk along the Nakdong River.

The 40-minute cruise departs at 5 p.m. from Hwamyeong Pier and travels approximately 8 kilometers, passing scenic landmarks such as Daedong-Hwamyeong Bridge and Gupo Bridge before returning to the starting point.

The Nakdong River Eco Boat program connects seamlessly with nearby attractions, including Hwamyeong Ecological Park, the Busan Fishing Village Folk Museum, the Climate Change Education Center, the Golden Sunset Bridge, Gupo Market, the Nakdong River Migratory Bird Observatory, and Samrak Ecological Park creating a perfect full-day itinerary that blends nature, culture, and relaxation.

Passengers can reserve a free seat for the trial cruises by contacting the Nakdong River Eco Boat Office at 051-294-2131 or 2135.

Those who post photos or reviews of their trip on social media will receive a small souvenir.

After the pilot period, the tour will officially become part of the regular schedule starting November 19, with fares set at 7,000 won for adults and 5,000 won for children and teens.
