Over 760,000 square meters of Yuchae flowerbeds have been planted to provide enjoyment to visitors, making it the largest collection of Yuchae flowerbeds in Korea.

The festival, which began in 2012, features pinwheels, jangseung (Korean traditional totem pole), Sotdae, flower sculptures, and environmental artworks will decorate the Yuchae flower paths crossing the park. A maze of flowerbeds, as well as observatories to view the flowers, will be set up.

There will be a number of other various things for visitors to enjoy and experience at the festival including beautiful walkways, field mazes, windmills, and photo zones.

A joint wedding ceremony for 10 couples will be held at the canola flower field as part of the opening event of the festival on April 6 at 2:00 p.m.

The ceremony titled, ‘Yuchae Flower Bride’ will leave an impression and happiness on the wedding couples and their guests.

The festival will feature a variety of activities including music performances, photo zones, photo exhibition, hanbok fashion show, riding donkey, flower field walks, Yuchae flower train and a food court and food truck, and more.

Admission to the festival is free but there are some paid events.

Thanks to the good response of the last year’s night opening program, the night opening hours will be expended one hour longer from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. this year. The colorful lights and music will make the scenes more enjoyable for visitors.
