Namhae County will host a five-day family nature event at Namhae Healing Forest Town from May 1 to 5, turning the forest complex into a large outdoor playground for children and parents during the Children’s Day holiday period.

Located in Bonghwa-ri, Samdong-myeon, the site formerly known as Namhae Butterfly Ecology Park will install a giant inflatable air bounce as the centerpiece attraction, giving young visitors an expanded play zone in the middle of the forest setting.

Families visiting during the event can also explore the Butterfly Ecology Center, where seasonal butterfly species will be on display, while the children’s forest experience area offers open nature play spaces designed for free outdoor activity.

Additional hands-on programs include family woodcraft workshops, a cypress forest net road experience, and electric sightseeing cart rides that allow visitors to take in panoramic views of the Healing Forest Town and its surrounding mountain scenery.

The special holiday program runs daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Namhae Healing Forest Town will remain open throughout the entire event period without its usual closure days.
