Namsan Summer Festival to bring walking events, live music and cultural experiences to Seoul

Seoul will host the 2026 Namsan Summer Festival on June 27, offering a full day of walking activities, live performances and cultural experiences across Namsan.
One of the festival’s highlights is “Fun & Walk,” a 6-kilometer walking event from Baekbeom Square to Palgak Plaza. Participants will pass through themed zones featuring water fog installations, giant ice displays, busking performances and interactive challenges. A total of 1,000 participants will be accepted.
The festival will conclude with “Summer Night,” an outdoor concert beginning at 7 p.m. at Baekbeom Square. Singer-songwriters Roy Kim and John Park will headline the event, joined by additional live performances in a cooling outdoor setting. Attendance is limited to 1,000 people through advance reservation.
Visitors can also enjoy a variety of hands-on activities, including traditional mother-of-pearl fan making, bookmark crafting, lucky cat keyring workshops and photo booths. At the newly opened Korean Forest Garden, guided tours and cultural experiences will be available throughout the day.
Registration for the walking event, concert and docent programs opened on June 12 through the Garden City Seoul website and related online platforms.
Participation in the concert and docent programs is free, while the walking event costs 5,000 won.
