Seoul’s popular Han River Under the Bridge Cinema returns this August, bringing free outdoor movie screenings to three Han River parks over three Saturday evenings.
The event runs at 8 p.m. on August 8, 15, and 22, with screenings taking place beneath Wonhyo Bridge in Yeouido, Cheongdam Bridge in Ttukseom, and Cheonho Bridge in Gwangnaru.
On August 22, screenings will be held only at Yeouido.
This year’s lineup includes a mix of recent Korean hits and family-friendly films, including If We, Harbin, Victory, Hear Me: Our Summer, The Man Living with the King, The Wild Robot, and Wonder.
Films shown at Yeouido will include English subtitles for international visitors.
Admission is free, with seating available on a first-come, first-served basis. Visitors can also enjoy pre-show photo and video presentations, commemorative tickets, and interactive activities before the screenings begin.
Last year’s event attracted more than 13,000 attendees, making it one of Seoul’s most popular summer evening programs.
