Passenger use is varying at three new Busan stops added last month to the KTX-Eum line connecting Busan and Cheongnyangni in Seoul.

According to Korail’s Busan–Gyeongnam headquarters, New Haeundae Station recorded the highest ridership, with over 13,000 passengers in about a month.

The station has eight daily stops, while Gijang and Centum stations, with only two stops a day.

Haeundae-gu District plans to expand night lighting and install a tourist information center and transfer waiting area next month.

Gijang and Centum are calling for more train stops to boost visitor inflow, as local governments push rail-linked tourism plans with Korail.
