Seoul Gallery at Seoul City Hall will host a special Pokémon GO event from September 18 through October 11, bringing Pikachu, games and family activities to the underground exhibition space.
The event, themed “Pikachu’s Autumn Picnic,” will feature Pokémon GO booths, photo zones and interactive areas throughout the gallery. Visitors who access the game at the venue will also have a chance to encounter Pikachu wearing an orange hanbok.
Alongside the Pokémon activities, visitors can explore exhibitions highlighting Seoul programs and attractions, including Hangang Bus, DDP and Seoul Learn. Other attractions include a Seoul-themed yutnori game, digital installations and family activity areas.
Cultural performances are planned throughout the event, including classical music, fusion gugak, popular music and balloon shows. Performances will generally take place Wednesdays at 12:30 p.m. and weekends at 2 p.m., with additional programs during the Chuseok holiday.
A special finale will be held October 9 with live music, a magic show and other family entertainment.
Seoul Gallery, located on B1 of Seoul City Hall, opened in February and is approaching one million visitors.
