Seoul has unveiled its five best Seoul Dulle-gil trails for summer, highlighting routes that offer shaded forests, cool streams, and scenic views to help walkers escape the summer heat.

The 156.5-kilometer Seoul Dulle-gil encircles the city and is divided into 21 sections, with routes redesigned in 2024 to make them shorter and more accessible. More than 101,000 people have completed the full trail since its opening.

The recommended summer routes include the Mangwoo–Yongmasan Course for its popular night trekking and skyline views, the Achasan Course for its short, forested path, the Daemo–Guryongsan Course for its dense woodland, the Noeul–Haneul Park Course featuring a metasequoia-lined walkway, and the Bukhansan Seongbuk Course, known for its shaded mountain trails and streams.

The city advises hikers to walk during the cooler morning or evening hours, stay hydrated, and check weather conditions before setting out.

Detailed route information is available on the Seoul Dulle-gil website.
