Seoul’s Regional Tourism Antenna Shop, an urban travel hub where visitors can experience destinations across Korea in one place, has reopened with expanded content and two new participating regions, Gyeonggi and Jeonbuk.
Located inside the Seoul Urban Architecture Exhibition Hall near City Hall, the complex introduces visitors to regional culture, tourism information, and specialty products while encouraging travel beyond the capital.
With the additions, eight local governments now participate: Gangwon, Gyeongbuk, Andong, Jeonnam, Jeju, Chungnam, Gyeonggi, and Jeonbuk.
The basement exhibition hall now features immersive five-senses experiences. Spaces include scent and texture-based displays, audiovisual landscape rooms, and an algorithm-based travel recommendation lounge designed to inspire real trips.
Visitors can encounter elements such as Gangneung coffee, Boryeong mud, Andong hemp cloth, Jeju basalt, and Suncheon Bay salt flats.
Upstairs, the goods shop has reorganized its lineup into a commission-free shared market selling regional foods, crafts, and design products. Popular items include melon jam from Seongju, gim bugak snacks from Jeonnam, and mud soap from Chungnam.
The venue surpassed 130,000 visitors within four months of opening and will host joint regional pop-up events in April and October showcasing festivals and travel experiences from around the country.
