Seoul Botanic Park will offer 20 nature and ecology programs for children, families and adults from September through November, with activities ranging from wildlife observation and gardening to cooking and garden design.

Programs for children at the Children’s Garden School include crafts, art, vegetable gardening and succulent planting, along with activities exploring native Korean plants. Other sessions will introduce young participants to plant structures, seasonal foods, recycling and environmental issues through hands-on activities.

Family programs will move beyond the classroom with outdoor observation of insects, birds, leaves, fruits and seeds. Seasonal activities include looking for grasshoppers in September, studying autumn leaves in October and examining fruits and seeds in November. Families can also learn how to use binoculars for birdwatching or search the park for trees connected to different zodiac signs.

Adults can take part in programs focused on gardening and wellness, including garden design using 3D modeling and AI, permaculture, herbal relaxation and garden-based healing. Practical classes on preparing garden plans will also be available.

The park will continue to offer guided botanical garden tours, while the exhibition Gentle Balance: Reflecting Each Other will be available across several areas including the greenhouse, themed gardens and Magok Cultural Center.

Advance registration is available through the Seoul Botanic Park website and the Seoul Public Service Reservation system.

Reservations for each month generally open on the 25th of the previous month.
