With 50 days remaining until its opening, the 2026 Seoul International Garden Show is preparing to welcome visitors to Seoul Forest beginning May 1.

The event will showcase 160 gardens across Seoul Forest, Ttukseom Hangang Park, and nearby neighborhoods including Seongsu and Hwayang. The total number of gardens has increased by 44 percent compared with last year.

The exhibition will feature a wide range of garden styles created by designers, companies, students, and citizens. Several internationally recognized landscape architects and designers will also participate, including French landscape architect Henri Bava and Korean landscape pioneer Jung Young sun.

Other notable contributors include Chelsea Flower Show award winning designer Hwang Ji hae, naturalistic garden designer Kim Bong chan, and creative director Lee Jae seok. Their works will explore themes of nature, urban space, and cultural interpretation through diverse garden designs.

To mark the D minus 50 milestone, the event’s official website has been relaunched and promotional events are underway on social media as the city prepares for the large scale spring exhibition.
