Seoul’s popular Car-Free Jamsu Bridge Walking Festival will return this fall, taking place every Sunday from September 6 through October 25.

Now in its fifth year, the festival has attracted approximately 6.47 million visitors since launching in 2022. Events will run from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. around Jamsu Bridge and Banpo Hangang Park, with a different theme planned each week.

September’s program includes a large-scale water gun battle on September 6, university club performances on September 13, a fall sports day on September 20, and traditional performances from six countries for Chuseok celebrations on September 27.

October will shift toward food and nighttime activities. Around 100 food trucks will take over the bridge for the Jamsu Bridge Food Road on October 4, followed by a media art and light show on October 11 and a wellness evening featuring yoga, stretching and meditation on October 18.

Details for the final October 25 event will be announced later.

Regular attractions will include food trucks, handmade goods, street performances, play areas, silent DJ parties and the Banpo Bridge Moonlight Rainbow Fountain.

This fall will also mark the final season of the festival in its current car-free format before Jamsu Bridge is converted into a fully pedestrianized space in 2027.
