Seoul Lantern Festival begins 17-Day run today

The Seoul Lantern Festival returns for its 10th installment today under the theme “Seoul Dream, Flowering Light”.
 
The festival, which runs through November 18, takes place along Cheonggyecheon Stream between the plaza and Supyogyo Bridge in the heart of the city.
 
According to visitseoul.net, the festival will be divided and displayed under four different themes: The Launch Point for a New Dream, Seoul’s Dream for the Future, Seoul’s Shining Memories, and Seoul Filled with Traditions.
 
In addition, there will also be a variety of programs lined up such as sending up wish lanterns (Wish Lantern Launch Event), crafting traditional lanterns, and participating in SNS events.
 
The festival runs daily from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m.
