Seoul Lantern Festival runs through November 17

The Seoul Lantern Festival returns for its 11th installment today under the theme “Your Seoul, Lights Your Dream”.

The festival, which runs through November 17, takes place along Cheonggyecheon Stream between the plaza and Supyogyo Bridge in the heart of the city and attracts about 3 million visitors each year.

The festival will be divided and displayed under four different themes: Your Fairytale, Find Your Fairytale, Old Tales Come Alive and Our Fairytale Land.

In addition, there will also be a variety of programs lined up such as sending up wish lanterns (Wish Lantern Launch Event), crafting traditional lanterns, and participating in SNS events.

The festival runs daily from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m.
