Seoul, South Korea unveils 25 must-visit local attractions chosen by residents

Seoul has announced the 2026 Seoul Edition 25, a list of one standout attraction from each of the city’s 25 districts, selected through expert evaluations and an online public vote that attracted nearly 34,000 participants.
The initiative aims to highlight lesser-known neighborhoods and encourage visitors to explore beyond the city’s traditional tourist attractions. The selected destinations showcase Seoul’s mix of history, culture, nature, scenic viewpoints, and local communities.
The 25 selected attractions are:

Gangdong-gu, Gwangnaru Bicycle Park
Gangbuk-gu, Bukhansan Forest Healing Area
Gangseo-gu, Seoul Botanic Park
Gwanak-gu, Gwanaksan Mountain
Gwangjin-gu, Children’s Grand Park
Guro-gu, Gocheok Sky Dome
Geumcheon-gu, SeMA Seoseoul Museum of Art
Nowon-gu, Hwarangdae Railroad Park
Dobong-gu, SeMA Museum of Photography
Dongdaemun-gu, Gyeongdong Market
Dongjak-gu, Noryangjin Fish Market
Mapo-gu, Haneul Park

The city plans to use the list as the foundation for new themed travel routes, local experience programs, and partnerships with nearby businesses to encourage visitors to stay longer and explore more of Seoul’s neighborhoods.
