Seoul has opened a new “Seoul My Soul Shop” at Gangnam Station, expanding its official city-brand retail network to seven locations.
Located in the underground shopping area near Exit 2, the new store offers a range of Seoul-themed merchandise designed to highlight the city’s identity and appeal to both residents and international visitors. Existing locations include outlets at Seoul Gallery, Sejong Center, Seoul Tourism Plaza, Myeongdong Tourist Information Center, Yeouido Pier and DDP.
Gangnam Station was selected for its high foot traffic and strong mix of younger consumers and tourists, positioning the shop as a key hub for promoting the “Seoul My Soul” brand and encouraging tourism-related spending.
Since opening on April 30, the store has drawn steady interest from office workers, younger shoppers and overseas visitors. To mark the launch, promotional events are running through May 31, with customers receiving a branded clip pen with any purchase and a picnic mat for purchases over 30,000 won, while supplies last.
