The city of Seoul will host the Nodeul Spring Preview Festival on April 3 at Nodeul Island, offering citizens a chance to experience and explore the island’s future as a global arts destination.

Designed as an interactive, festival-style event, the program combines talk sessions and live performances to introduce plans for transforming Nodeul Island into a “global arts island.”

Unlike traditional forums, the event focuses on storytelling and music to make the vision more accessible and engaging for the public.

Festivities begin at noon with pre-event activities, including food trucks and a media exhibition showcasing the island’s future development. Visitors can enjoy a relaxed picnic atmosphere throughout the afternoon.

The main program kicks off at 5:30 p.m., followed by a talk session titled “The Future of Nodeul” at 6 p.m., where experts in landscape design and culture will share insights in an easy-to-understand format.

A live concert, “Spring on Nodeul,” begins at 6:45 p.m., timed with sunset along the Han River.

Performances will feature a lineup of artists including can’t be blue, THERAY, and Park Da-hye, creating a relaxing spring evening filled with music and scenic views.
