Seoul, Korea names 18 outstanding stays for international travelers

Seoul has selected 18 accommodations as its 2026 Outstanding Seoul Stay properties, recognizing guesthouses and hanok stays that offer international visitors a chance to experience everyday life in the city.
The program, jointly run by the Seoul Metropolitan Government and the Seoul Tourism Organization, highlights high-quality accommodations registered as foreign tourist guesthouses or hanok experience facilities.
This year, 18 properties were chosen from 48 applicants, including 10 city guesthouses and eight hanok stays.
Selected accommodations will receive up to 5 million won to improve facilities, strengthen safety measures, and enhance guest services.
They will also benefit from promotional and marketing support through the city.
