A four-day pop-up event showcasing food, beverages, and tourism experiences from across Korea will take place from June 17 to 20 at the rooftop of the Regional Tourism Antenna Shop near Seoul City Hall.
Organized by the Seoul Metropolitan Government and the Seoul Tourism Organization, “Local Trip Gourmet Pop-Up” will feature 10 food and beverage brands representing Gangwon, Gyeonggi, Jeonbuk, Jeju, and Seoul. The event aims to introduce visitors to regional specialties and encourage travel beyond the capital.
Participating brands will offer a variety of local snacks, desserts, coffee, specialty foods, craft beer, and traditional alcoholic beverages made with regional ingredients.
In addition to food and drink, visitors can take part in hands-on activities including traditional liquor tasting sessions, custom landmark keyring workshops, and interactive tourism-themed games. Live busking performances will also be held throughout the event.
The venue, located opposite Seoul City Hall, operates as a tourism platform connecting visitors with destinations and cultural experiences from around the country. Organizers say the event is designed to give residents and tourists a chance to experience regional culture in Seoul while discovering future travel destinations.
The pop-up will run daily from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., offering visitors the opportunity to enjoy local flavors alongside views of Deoksugung Stone Wall Road and the surrounding downtown area.
