The 2026 Seoul Stroller Run will take place on March 28 from 7:30 a.m. to 12 p.m., with the race starting at 8:30 a.m. Approximately 5,000 families are expected to participate in the 8km course from Gwanghwamun Square to Yeouido Park.

Now in its third year, the event has become one of Seoul’s flagship family-focused programs, promoting awareness around low birth rates and family life.

Along the route, a range of activities and performances will be held, including themed cheering zones, character appearances, and live street performances.

The start area at Gwanghwamun will feature stroller decoration zones and entertainment, while the finish area at Yeouido Park will include photo zones, medal engraving, and family-friendly activity spaces, including an expanded pop-up kids’ play area.

To ensure safety, a total of 637 personnel will be deployed, including medical teams, safety staff, and volunteers. Ambulances and on-site medical teams will be stationed throughout the course, and contingency plans are in place for weather or air quality issues.

Traffic will be partially or fully restricted along the route from 6 a.m. to 12 p.m., with key sections including Gwanghwamun Square, Sejong-daero, Sungnyemun, Gongdeok, Mapo, and Yeouido.

Drivers are advised to check navigation apps for real-time detours, as congestion is expected throughout the morning.
