Shinsegae Simon launches holiday super sale across premium outlets for lunar new year

Shinsegae Simon will hold its “Holiday Super Sale” from February 13 to 22 at its Busan, Yeoju, Paju, and Siheung Premium Outlets, offering a mix of shopping promotions and festive events during the Lunar New Year holiday.

Located near major highways, the outlets are popular stops for travelers heading to and from their hometowns, as well as for families planning holiday outings.

This year’s event expands beyond seasonal discounts, adding large-scale entertainment and cultural programs designed to draw visitors throughout the 10-day period.

A 500-drone night show will headline the celebrations, marking the first time the company has introduced a display of this scale.

The drone shows will take place on February 13 in Siheung, February 21 in Busan, and February 22 in Yeoju, while Paju will host a fireworks show on February 20.

Traditional-themed programs are also planned.

A pop-up featuring Korean Folk Village will combine retail and live performances, including instrumental and pungmul performances staged sequentially at Siheung (February 14), Yeoju (February 15), and Paju (February 16).

Select VIP lounges in Paju and Siheung will host special haegeum performances. From February 14 to 18, Yeoju and Siheung will also operate a K-culture pop-up with traditional goods and hands-on activities.

Participating brands will offer discounts of up to 50 percent on sports and outdoor labels, with additional promotions available across fashion, accessories, and children’s brands.

Food and beverage promotions and cardholder gift certificate events will run throughout the sale period.
