The city of Busan will launch of the “Signature Store & Together Alleyway Shopping District Tour,” a series of fall events designed to bring new life to local alleyway commercial districts.
The initiative highlights two of Busan’s standout “Signature Stores”, Helmet in Suyeong-gu and Morubi in Haeundae-gu, both of which will host immersive cultural experiences that blend local creativity, food, and community charm.
The first event, “Meet Happy Halloween at Helmet Street,” takes place from October 31 to November 1 at the Suyeong-gu Helmet Alleyway Shopping District (22 Suyeong-ro 554beon-gil).
The brunch café Helmet, located near Gwangalli, will transform into a vibrant cultural hub featuring a Halloween-themed photo zone, a pop-up collaboration with global brands like Nike, and the release of new seasonal menus. Visitors can enjoy live DJ performances, film screenings, and a “shop-in-shop” showcase where local workshops display their handmade goods inside participating stores.
Even after the two-day event, the area will continue hosting smaller community programs throughout November including morning yoga at Le Temps, evening DJ sessions at Snooby, seasonal movie nights at Helmet, and reading gatherings at Daniels turning the alley into a lifestyle destination that blends culture, leisure, and local business.
The second event, “Haeridan-gil Sweet Salon in Wooil Mansion,” will be held on November 8 and 9 in Haeundae-gu.
Centered around Morubi, a signature dessert café that helped define Harrydan-gil’s early café culture, the event will showcase Haeridan-gil’s unique flavor through pop-up dessert shops, a “Salon de Harry” tasting event, an artisan “Atelier Market,” and a fringe concert in the cozy Wooil Mansion space. Shoppers can also take part in a special receipt promotion offering limited-edition Harrydan-gil goods.
Th city expects the program to help promote the city’s lesser-known alleyway districts while introducing citizens and visitors alike to the creativity and personality of its small local businesses.
