The 33rd Taebaeksan Snow Festival will run from January 31 to February 8, 2026, at Taebaeksan National Park, under the theme “2026 REAL Taebaeksan Snow Festival” in Gangwon province.

Set against the winter scenery of Taebaeksan Mountain, the festival will feature a large-scale snow sculpture exhibition alongside a range of winter attractions designed for visitors of all ages.

Core programs include snow and ice sculptures, a large snow sledding hill, an outdoor skating rink, the Taebaeksan Exhibition Hall, and a healing experience center focused on winter nature.

Additional events include the Taebaeksan National Snow Climbing Competition, a national university snow sculpture contest, winter backpacking activities, and a mini winter Olympics.

Visitor participation programs, such as an igloo-style cafeteria, will also be available throughout the festival period.
