Tongyeong City is holding the 4th Namparang Trail Walking Event on November 29 at 9 a.m., starting from Yi Sun-sin Park.

The event is part of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism’s Korea Dulegil program and aims to promote the Namparang Trail’s 28th course while offering participants a relaxed walking experience surrounded by coastal scenery.

The 4.5 km route begins at the Yi Sun-sin Park parking lot, follows the park path, passes through the Sejatra Forest, and loops back to the starting point a course that takes about two hours to complete.

Participants who finish the walk receive a small commemorative gift, and a raffle will be held using bib numbers.

Registration is available through the Korea Sea Scouts Gyeongnam Southern Federation website. Participation is capped at 500 people on a first-come basis.

Now in its fourth year, the Tongyeong Namparang Trail program continues to expand walking tourism through rest-stop operations, storytelling trails, night walking events, and various stay-based walking programs designed to boost local tourism.
