Riding on the low-carbon and eco-friendly trend, KORAIL’s new KTX-Eum high-speed train is making fast travel green.

The new electric train from Seoul (Cheongryangri Station) takes an hour to get to Jecheon, 45 minutes to Chungcheongbuk-do Province, an hour and 45 minutes to Yeongju, Gyeongsangbuk-do Province.

The most attractive traveling course is from Seoul to Andong, a historic city in Gyeongsang Province. Andong is known for Hahoe Folk Village’s unique architecture and the artistic Hahoe Mask Dance. From Seoul, getting to Andong is only two hours, a way quicker option than driving or traveling on other trains.

KTX-Eum is also wheelchair-accessible, including designated restroom facilities and ramps allowing easy access from platform to train.
