Hapcheon County will host the 2025 Tripitaka Koreana Record Culture Festival from October 24 to November 2 at the Hapcheon Tripitaka Koreana Theme Park.
This year’s theme, “A Thousand Years of Records Become a Flower Path,” transforms the venue into a stunning celebration of the Tripitaka Koreana’s enduring legacy, blending culture, history, and natural beauty.
Visitors can stroll along the “path where records bloom into flowers,” surrounded by floral sculptures inspired by the ancient woodblocks, chrysanthemum archways, and flower walls that create a vibrant, dreamlike atmosphere.
Photo zones throughout the park, including one featuring Hapcheon’s beloved mascots, Byeolkkungi and Janggyeongi, offer memorable moments for families and travelers.
Inside Millennium Hall, visitors will find elegant chrysanthemum bonsai displays, capturing the essence of autumn in full bloom.
The festival also offers hands-on activities for all ages, including Tripitaka Koreana notebook making, calligraphy, keychain crafting, and natural soap workshops.
These interactive programs invite visitors to experience the artistry and wisdom behind Korea’s thousand-year-old cultural treasure in a fresh, creative way.
