The Korea Racing Authority’s Let’s Run Park Busan-Gyeongnam will reopen its “Maljukgeori Market” beginning on the 1st of next month, welcoming visitors back to the popular weekend gathering space.
The permanent flea market operates every Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Derby Square.
In addition to vendor booths, the site will feature children’s play equipment throughout the weekend, while Sundays will include a flea market zone run by local small business owners and a food-truck area.
Organizers say the market functions as more than a shopping venue, serving as a steady sales channel for small businesses in the Busan-Gyeongnam region and a community leisure space for residents.
This year, monthly themed activities are planned, including a commemorative keychain giveaway on the first Sunday of each month and an attendance stamp program with prizes awarded twice a year.
Let’s Run Park Busan-Gyeongnam also plans to continue hosting additional community cultural events alongside the market.
