Families looking for a weekend escape from the summer heat can visit the SUN Water Festival at LetsRun Park Busan Gyeongnam, which is running on weekends through August 17.

The family-friendly event features water attractions, games, and entertainment, with a special final opening on Monday, August 17.

The festival will not operate on August 1 and 2 due to the temporary closure of the park during the extreme heat period.

This year’s festival features returning favorites such as water pools and inflatable slides, along with new attractions including a snowman climbing wall, bubble pool, and fountain tunnel.

Bubble parties are held twice daily at 12:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m., while water gun battles and random play dance sessions provide additional entertainment for children.

The festival operates in two daily sessions from 10 a.m. to 1:50 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 5:50 p.m. Admission is 5,000 won per session, with a 10% discount available for residents of Gangseo-gu and Gimhae.

Organizers say water quality and visitor safety remain a priority, with regular cleaning breaks, lifeguards, emergency responders, and controlled capacity at each attraction throughout the event.
