Yangsan City will operate a special city tour program on June 20 and 21, giving visitors the opportunity to explore some of Ungsang’s best-known attractions while enjoying the annual Ungsang Hoeyaje Festival.
Designed around the early summer travel season, the tour combines cultural sites, local markets, natural scenery, and one of the region’s signature festivals into a full-day experience.
The itinerary begins at Yangsan Station before heading to the Korean Royal Flower Museum, where visitors can learn about Korea’s royal flower culture. Participants will then visit Deokgye Permanent Market to experience the atmosphere of a traditional local marketplace before continuing to Ungsang Sports Park, the main venue for the 2026 Ungsang Hoeyaje Festival.
The final stop is Beopgi Reservoir, a popular destination known for its peaceful surroundings, forested walking trails, and scenic views.
Festival visitors will be able to enjoy a variety of performances, cultural experiences, food vendors, and community events throughout the day. A cultural tourism guide will accompany the tour, providing insights into Yangsan’s history, attractions, and local culture.
Reservations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis from June 10 through 6 p.m. on June 17 via the city tour reservation page on the Yangsan City website.
Participation costs 3,000 won for adults and 1,000 won for students, while children aged seven and under may join free of charge. Lunch, travel insurance, activity fees, and admission to the Korean Royal Flower Museum are not included.
The museum admission fee is 3,000 won.
The tour may be canceled if fewer than 10 participants register or in the event of severe weather.
