An official of the Busan regional police agency said it will allow parking on roads around the traditional markets of Busan for the Lunar New Year holidays.

The move is aimed at helping citizens preparing food for ancestral rites and to revitalize traditional market shopping.

The special permit parking period is from today until the 6th of February and it will cover 18 traditional markets in downtown areas.

Vehicles will be allowed to stay parked on the roads for about two hours, which may be adjusted according to the situation at the market.
