Expressing weather in a foreign language is an easy way to incorporate new phrases into your everyday life while living abroad. And you might want to use these phrases to cool off on a boiling hot day.

When you want to tell someone “It’s so hot today,” you can use this expression: “o-neul nal-ssi-ga neo-mu deo-wo-yo.” If you want to say “Let’s drink something cold,” you can use this: “u-li si-won-han-geo ma-syeo-yo.”

“It’s so hot today.” = 오늘 날씨가 너무 더워요. (nal-ssi-ga neo-mu deo-wo-yo) (oneul 오늘 = today, nalssi 배 = weather, neomu 너무= so, deowoyo 더워요 = hot)

“Let’s drink something cold.” = 우리 시원한 거 마셔요. (u-li si-won-han-geo ma-syeo-yo) (uli 우리 = we, siwonhan = cold, geo거(것) = something, ma-syeoyo마셔요 = drink)
