AUSTIN, TX -- On Friday, October 1, 2021, the Art is Alive Film Festival will screen the award-winning live-action animation of 'The Great Moving Adventure' for its 6th annual celebration. The screening will be followed by a virtual Q&A session with the co-creator Trevor Romain and award-winning journalist, media personality and founder of The Art is Alive Magazine Cindy Mich. Co-created by World Class Coaches and The Trevor Romain Company, 'The Great Moving Adventure' presents Trevor Romain (in live-action) sends animated character Darryl on an adventure he won't forget. Darryl is upset to move to a new state, learns moving can be a fun experience. With the help of Jack and Skye, Trevor's two animated sidekicks, Darryl realizes that moving presents a wonderful opportunity to find new friends and how to keep in touch with his old ones. Darryl also learns some practical strategies to help him along his journey once he arrives at his new town.

"One of the hardest things for children is moving. Adults underestimate how traumatic moving can be, even if it's just moving across town, let alone across the country, or the world, for that matter. I am thrilled that the 'Great Moving Adventure' has been selected for the 2021 Art is Alive Film Festival because I believe this informative and entertaining little movie not only helps kids deal with moving, but also helps them understand, and manage, other difficult transitions in their lives." - said Trevor Romain, President of the Trevor Romain Company

Starring in the video includes Skye (voiced by Anna Reyes), Darryl (voiced by Satchel J. Selden), and Jack (voiced by Eli Black, son of Austin Chronicle's co-founder and co-owner Louis Black). Loris Kramer Lunsford ("StarBeam", "Supernoobs"), Woody, and Ronda Englander, as well as Carl Thiel ("Seis Manos", "Alita; Battle Angel") produced the live-action animation associated with the award-winning series of 'The Trevor Romain Show' that was featured on PBS affiliate stations.

"I am truly looking forward to screening the 'The Great Moving Adventure' at my festival this year because it is both an educational and entertaining film project. Trevor Romain is an expert at attempting to help children heal in mind and inner spirit, and his message aligns with the main purpose of my event - inspiring others to be their best selves." - Cindy Mich, Founder of Art is Alive Film Festival

The film festival takes place in a hybrid format from New York City, 2021 between Thursday, September 30 - Sunday, October 3, 2021. More information about the event can be found at: here
