U.S. specialty coffee brand Blue Bottle is reportedly planning to open its first official store in Busan this year, marking five years since entering the South Korean market.
Last year, Blue Bottle operated a coffee truck pop-up at The Bay 101 plaza at Dongbaek Island.
According to local media reports Blue Bottle Coffee is preparing to open a store in Suyeong-gu in the second half of this year.
A job posting for full-time employees to work at the Busan cafe recently appeared on Blue Bottle Coffee Korea’s website, though it has since closed.
While the company has yet to confirm the exact location, the cafe is expected to open in Gwangalli.
