The city of Busan will hold a three-day promotional event from June 26 to 28 at Suyeong Paldo Market and Deokpo Market to boost consumption and revitalize local traditional markets.

The event will feature culinary experiences, multicultural activities, and performances aimed at attracting both residents and tourists.

At Suyeong Paldo Market, the “Delicacies Festa” will showcase live cooking demonstrations by Michelin-starred and popular Busan chefs using fresh ingredients sourced directly from the market.

The highlight includes the “Paldo One-Pan Market,” where visitors can reserve cooking kits and enjoy preparing food on-site. The event also offers beer tastings, street performances, and a vibrant night market atmosphere.

At Deokpo Market in Sasang District, the event will transform the venue into an exotic Southeast Asian-style night market, reflecting the area’s multicultural community.

Visitors can enjoy street foods such as pho and banh mi, browse cultural booths, and take part in photo sessions with traditional costumes. Live music performances including saxophone, reggae, and jazz-funk will further enhance the festive mood.

Operating hours are from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Suyeong Paldo Market and from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Deokpo Market.
