In Korea, winter and spring are the seasons when the sweet and tart strawberries are at their peak. Missing out on this year’s strawberry peak season means you’ll have to wait for another year. However, it’s not too late to satiate your strawberry craving! Read on for our recommended upcoming and ongoing strawberry events.
Nonsan Strawberry Festival
Event period: March 27-30, 2025
Venue: Nonsan Citizen’s Park in Nonsan, Chuncheongnam-do (충청남도 논산시민공원 및 시민운동장)
Nonsan Strawberry Festival fills the air with strawberry scent every year in Nonsan, Chuncheongnam-do. As Korea’s representative strawberry festival, this year marks its 27th anniversary and welcomes visitors with a variety of booths and programs such as a strawberry market, strawberry picking experience, strawberry dessert café, strawberry fusion restaurant, strawberry parade, and more. Nonsan is also home to the Korea Army Training Center, and in an effort to promote the city as a military-friendly city, the festival will also allow host a special exhibition introducing the Nonsan Army Aviation School and helicopters. Try on a ROK military uniform and take a snapshot of yourself with the ROK Army helicopter by your side.
Salon de Ddalki by JW Marriott Dongdaemun Square Seoul
If you love strawberries and are obsessed with pink, this is definitely the place to be! In celebration of its 10th anniversary of Salon de Ddalki, JW Marriott Dongdaemun Square has teamed up with Pantone, a globally recognized color institute, to present a lovely and sweet experience. The strawberry buffet area is adorned with color themes of Pantone’s Strawberry Pink and Pink Drink, and the special collaboration fondue fountain is sure to grab your attention with its silky smooth pink strawberry chocolate cascading down the tiers. A new variety of fresh premium strawberries delivered directly from Nonsan farms are used in making a plethora of sweet desserts and savory menu items to please the palate of visitors of all ages.
DDALKI STUDIO at Seoul Dragon City
Seoul Dragon City offers a delightful dessert buffet with the theme of an amusement park. Delicious desserts like short cakes, Mont Blanc, monaka, and more are complemented by amusement-themed décor to create a perky atmosphere. Thanks to their efficient and quick delivery system, the strawberries are picked and delivered directly from the farm on the day. As if feasting your eyes on the 24 different desserts is not rewarding enough, the view of Namsan Tower from 26 floors above ground is another sweet treat. In addition to strawberry desserts, you can also enjoy a variety of food like jjamppong (spicy noodles), cheese dakgalbi (spicy stir-fried chicken), and more.
Lovely Strawberry at Grand Walker Hill Seoul
Grand Walker Hill Seoul presents a mashup of Korea’s sweet and juicy Seolhyang strawberries and Western desserts adorned in lovely shades of pink. Their signature menu is the Strawberry Dessert Set for Two, which consists of a total of 10 assorted desserts such as chocolate-coated strawberry financier, strawberry and cream cheese mille-feuille sandwich, and crunchy strawberry chip chocolate. The desserts are served in an elegant three-tier tray, making it impossible to resist from taking a photo for showing off. A la carte menu for beverages and other desserts is also available.
Strawberry Serenade Afternoon Tea at Grand Hyatt Seoul

Grand Hyatt Seoul offers a sweet-scented getaway with an afternoon tea buffet featuring strawberries grown from Jirisan Mountain in Sancheong, Gyeongsangnam-do. Grown on the fields of pristine mountain range, these exquisite Sancheong strawberries are flavorful and an excellent ingredient for making the sweetest desserts. The afternoon tea set desserts include strawberry fromage blanc cake, strawberry pistachio mille-feuille, and more. In addition to the sweet desserts, Grand Hyatt Seoul also offers savory menu items such as lobster arancini, Cajun shrimp taco, and foie gras ganache.
Strawberry picking at Cloudberry

Cloudberry is a “smart farm” that grows organic strawberries. Although there are many strawberry fields across the country, this farm is particularly famous for two main reasons. First, Cloudberry has international staff members who can provide assistance in their native language, making the experience at this farm more convenient for those who cannot speak Korean. Secondly, the farm hosts a cooking class along with strawberry-picking experience, and participants can take their handmade desserts home. Reservations are required in advance in order to enter the farm.
