To celebrate the summer vacation season, the German Village Hotel in Namhae is hosting a special welcome event for guests from July 18 to September 30.

The hotel, which operates as a village-wide tourism network rather than a single building, links local guesthouses, cafés, and restaurants under one brand, offering both visitors convenience and residents economic benefits.

As part of the event, the first 1,000 guests staying at the German Village Hotel will receive vouchers for “Miner’s Hotdogs,” a locally developed snack inspired by the life of the miners who helped establish the village.

The hotdog, made with squid ink buns and a special yuzu-garlic sauce, is prepared by residents and available at the German Village Square snack shop.

This initiative is operated by the Namhae Tourism and Culture Foundation and aims to enhance the guest experience while promoting local businesses and storytelling.
