Seoul is set to dazzle food enthusiasts with the “Seoul Dining Pop-Up: Discover the Taste of Seoul,” held in celebration of the 2025 Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants event.

In honor of hosting the prestigious culinary competition for the second consecutive year, the pop-up will take place at Banpo Sebitseom from March 23 to March 24, featuring a series of special dining experiences and cultural programs.

The broader 2025 Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants event runs from March 23 to March 25, offering a variety of programs including a welcome dinner, forum, and awards ceremony.

This year’s pop-up marks a significant upgrade from previous editions, with the event size doubling compared to last year.

A total of 300 citizens will have the opportunity to participate across three sessions, with tickets available on a first-come, first-served basis via the Catch Table app starting March 18 at 2 p.m.

Tickets are priced at 40,000 won per person, and each individual is limited to two tickets to prevent resale or proxy purchases.

Attendees must bring a valid ID for entry verification on the day of the event.

On the opening day, March 23, Chef Choi Hyun-seok—renowned for his “Black and White Chefs” concept—will lead a star-studded team including Jang Ho-jun (NegiLive), Yoon Nam-no (Dipin), Song Ha-slam (MamaRi Market), Kim Tae-sung (Pono Buono), and Son Seok-ho (Sokoba). Together, they will present signature dishes and traditional liquor cocktails crafted by expert bartenders.

The following day, March 24, Chef Kang Min-gu of Mingles, who simultaneously clinched 2025 Michelin Guide 3 Stars and the title of Korea’s first “2024 World 50 Best Restaurants,” will helm a team comprising Park Moo-hyun (Muoki), Park Ga-ram (Dresden Green), Lee Chan-yang (Original Numbers), Lee Yong-woo (Harris), Im Hong-geun & Shin Ga-young (FERRIDGE), Choi Kyu-sung (Patisserie Mewh), and Im Byung-jin (Bar Cham).

This talented group will offer fine dining small plates and innovative traditional liquor cocktails at an accessible price.
