Star Lounge, an all-day brunch café, has become one of the lastest trendy hotspots in Cheongsapo.

The cafe, which is surrounded by lush greenery, was renovated inside and out into a nice oasis in the countryside.

The friendly workers welcome customers upon entry into their tastefully decorated interior and their revolving menu brings regulars coming back quite frequently.

While the brunch menu may not quite be up to the Western standards, it does still offer a normal traditional western breakfast.

While I usually am not a fan of bacon and sausages, they were both quite delicious and cooked perfectly. Their homemade jam and butter really hit the spot on the toast as well, and while one chunk of the potatoes was not totally cooked, it didn’t deter from enjoying the meal. The fresh, strong coffee which I always enjoy was also more than satisfying.

This place is really fun to walk around before or after your meal. The view itself from the table by the window is quite calming from daily life in the city. On a nice day, sitting outside with your pets with a coffee or draft beer is a great way to spend an afternoon.

There are also many rooms for different sizes of groups or those looking for some great Instagram-worthy photos. Star Lounge turns also turns into a lovely and romantic spot at night with many lights outside around the grounds.

Their healthy brunch menu runs from 9,000 won to 13,000 won and their homemade-style fruit ade or tea are 6,000 won or 7,000 won.

I highly recommend their desserts, especially the cheesecake and apple tart which were both delicious and not too sweet.

It’s best to come around 11 or after 2 p.m. because it tends to get busy with customers for coffee or dessert after lunch around noon to 2 p.m.

For a small party, reservations are available from 7 p.m. for either outside or inside and their barbecue plate for 49,000 won for two will be served.
