U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Mark Garza, 36th Fighter Generation Squadron aircraft inspection journeyman, adjusts his headlamp while conducting routine maintenance on an F-16 Fighting Falcon at Osan Air Base, Republic of Korea, Sept. 6, 2023. Maintaining the F-16s assigned to the 36th Fighter Squadron is the primary responsibility of the 36th FGS. Keeping these F-16s in operational condition enables the 36th FS to fulfill the mission of the 51st Fighter Wing to safeguard the skies over the ROK.
